Jay here… just wanted to type this out freely to explain things clearly, so you know exactly what’s best for you to do next.

LOW COST ROUTE:

You can go down the low-cost route if you don’t have a lot of money to invest in ads right away.

This means starting with the GoHighLevel free trial, then getting Leads Sniper to scrape leads for a one-time cost of $149.

For that, you get unlimited lead scrapes — which will keep you busy basically forever. There’s no way you could call every business, so it’s a really good deal.

HIGHER COST ROUTE:

This would still involve getting the GoHighLevel free trial, but you’d go straight into spending money on Facebook and Instagram ads.

This is good if you are confident on camera and already have some experience running ads on Meta.

If you get it right from the start (because you have experience — I don’t suggest doing it if you don’t), you could earn straight away, as it can be very effective.

HOWEVER...

My honest opinion is that if you are a complete beginner, you should go with the low-cost option first and get your first 10–20 customers that way.

Then, once the business is bringing in £500–£1,000 per month… THEN put that money into Facebook and Instagram ads.

That way, you already know how to sell.

You’ll likely have done several thousand cold calls, so you’ll come across very confident on sales calls.

This carries over into your ads when you record them. You’ll have done your reps, so you’ll come across competent and trustworthy — and that’s what makes ads work.

When a potential customer feels confident you’re the right person, your ads take off.

And in my experience, that confidence only comes from doing the reps.

Finally...

To give you some context, when I first started, I cold called around 18,000 businesses in total.

At the start, I was doing 10–50 calls per day.

Then I wanted to do more, so I went up to 100 per day (roughly 1 hour).

Then I got confident and realised I could do even more, so I started doing 200 per day, 5 days a week.

That’s 1,000 cold calls per week.

When you do anything in large volumes, success is basically inevitable.

So I have no doubt, if you make the calls relentlessly and just keep going, you’ll get customer after customer, and it will start to snowball.

Some people get their first client within a few days, others take a few weeks. It depends on how consistently you’re reaching out and improving your pitch.

Do I need experience to start this?

No. You don’t need experience in web design or sales. You just need to follow the process, use the tools, and take action daily.

What if I’m not good at sales?

You don’t need to be “good”, you need to be consistent. The script and repetition do most of the work. Skill comes after volume.

Where do I get leads from?

I use Google Maps scraping software (Lead Sniper) to download thousands of contacts from businesses without a website.

This is the lowest-cost way.

Once you get it, you should be able to build a full site in a few hours.
